The Coral Feeder
Corals have a limestone skeleton, it forms itself thanks to the calcium of the water.
To feed themselves, corals have tentacles to catch plankton/zooxanthellae. Coral reefs are a shelter where fish can live and breed.
Corals fix CO2 contained in water and produces oxygen which fish need. It’s considered the lungs of the ocean ! Coral is an animal that builds reefs which provide natural protection for the coast.
The CORAL FEEDER is a ceramic structure placed near coral reefs. Small pieces of corals will grow on top, bringing back fish and life to coral areas. People can feed the corals, which promotes awareness.
